Period of Disequilibrium Scene's

The Scenes we have filmed here include the running scene with Sam and Ava, shots of each character alone in the dark and other shots to create scary effects such as the light flicking.

Toilet and Locker Scenes

The first scene shown here is the reshoot of the toilet scene we filmed a few weeks ago, this version of the scene includes all the correct props costume and dialogue. The second scene is of the two characters discussing the meeting up later that night, we chose to use extras to create a realistic school atmosphere.

Practice Toilet Scene

This was our first practice of the moment of disequilibrium, in which one of the characters discovers that the group are not alone in the school. Shooting this scene gave us a chance to practice using the filming equipment and allowed us to familiarise our selves with the editing software.

Initial Sound Ideas

For the music for our horror film we have decided that we would like to use orchestral music as this is the music we found to be most effective in horror films. “Drag Me to Hell” uses music which is similar to what we would like as is very spiritual music, as both this trailer and our trailer are supernatural horrors this is the “scariest” music to use.

We would also like to use sound effects particularly for the static picture image that we will be using in between scenes to show the trailer in some parts is handheld. For this we will be using static television sound effect. We would also like to add in other sound effects as we would like our trailer to have no diegetic sound for the acting to be more convincing.
